About Us

We are 2009 Canadian National Champions!!

We are four-time Canadian Junior National Champions, five-time Provincial Champions and we are the first Canadian Junior C2 team to ever win an international race.

Biography

At the age of 11 and 13 our mother enrolled us into the Cottonwood Canoe/Kayak Club, which ignited our passion for this water sport. We arrived late for our first lesson and the only boat still available was a ‘C-2’ doubles boat. From that day forward, we continued in the C-2 category and have been very successful. This past season we switched bow and stern positions. In doing so we have been able to become more well-rounded paddlers and we have continued to find success. The challenge of learning skills in our new positions keeps the sport of White Water Slalom exciting. As a team, we continue to compete on the world stage and are now trying to reach our Olympic dream.
